Work Location

As a Kitchen Helper, you will support the kitchen team in daily food preparation and ensure all kitchen operations run smoothly and efficiently. You will assist chefs, maintain cleanliness, prepare basic ingredients, and help uphold the hotel’s high standards of hygiene and food safety.
Responsibilities
- Assist chefs with basic food preparation (cutting, washing, portioning ingredients).
- Ensure the kitchen area, tools, and equipment remain clean and sanitized.
- Help prepare ingredients before service (mise en place).
- Maintain proper storage of food items according to hygiene standards.
- Support the team during busy service hours.
- Dispose of waste properly and keep the kitchen organized.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and hotel SOPs at all times.
- Work closely with chefs and other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications
- Male or female, minimum 18 years old.
- Preferably SMK or Diploma in Culinary, Hospitality, or related fields.
- Basic English communication skills; additional languages are an advantage.
- Experience in kitchens, restaurants, or F&B operations is preferred but not required.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Responsible, hardworking, disciplined, and eager to learn.
- Clean and neat appearance with a professional attitude.
- Able to work under pressure and adapt to an international work setting.
